The PRF Power Kit Pro is a set of the Hettich EBA 200 MD, 30 Density glass tubes without anticoagulant or separator gel, and consumables. Your protocol decides between PRF and, with an added anticoagulant, PRP.

What matters with PRF
- Start quicklyFor PRF without anticoagulant, the Density documentation says centrifugation starts within 60 seconds of collection.
- Clarify the speedThe PRF speeds in the Density documentation name no reference device and no rotor radius. Define the setting for the EBA 200 MD based on your protocol.
- PRP as an alternativeWhen prepared with an anticoagulant according to the manufacturer's documentation, 1,200 × g for 7 minutes applies; the RCF calculator further down shows the speed for this.

Does the kit suit your practice?
A good choice if you
- use PRF protocols without anticoagulant,
- prepare PRP with an anticoagulant you add yourself,
- need a centrifuge with a medical intended purpose.
A different set is a better fit if
- you prefer ready-to-use PRP tubes with citrate and separator gel: PRP Starter Set,
- a suitable centrifuge is already in place: Density glass tubes individually.

RCF and speed calculator
Protocols state the relative centrifugal force in × g. The speed your centrifuge needs to reach it depends on the rotor radius.
Formula: RCF = 1.118 × 10−5 × r (cm) × n². The radius is the distance from the axis of rotation to the bottom of the tube in operating position. 86 mm corresponds to the Hettich EBA 200 MD with rotor E4413 and 9 to 10 ml tubes according to the manufacturer's documentation. 76, 101 and 126 mm are the radii of the Hettich EBA 270, depending on the bucket. The approx. 93 mm for the SERVOspin Evolve is derived from the manufacturer's figure of 2,600 × g at 5,000 rpm; with adapters the effective radius may be smaller. The result is a calculated value; the instructions for use of the tube and centrifuge take precedence.
